Sonic Drive-in Commercials

Do you find the Sonic television and radio commercials as irritating as I do? Unfortunately, they're also the ones that seem to generate the most discussion here at my office, and even at home. When we see or hear one...we start talking about another one. The latest one they're playing here in my town is the husband and wife. She's drinking a banana cream pie shake and says it reminds her of ordering something from the "Soda jerk" at the drugstore. To which her husband replies that he could be a soda jerk. "Go ahead..ask for something" When she does, he is really a jerk. I can't believe I actually laughed at this one. Do you have a favorite Sonic Commercial you "love to hate?"

Believe it or not but I have never seen a sonic drive in commercial. I dont think that we even have a sonic within a 3 hour radius. We were in South Carolina visiting our daughter and her family. My husband and our daughter went out somewhere to eat. I think he siad that they went to sonic. Is that the restaurant where you stay in your car and they bring your food to You?

That's the one. They have a huge variety of drinks, if the food is not enough. I'm a fan of the drinks more than anything.

the drinks are wonderful! I have a new favorite...it's a cherry-Dr. Pepper SLUSH. One of my daughter's friends got me hooked on them! They are amazing!

The Sonic commercials are definitely a piece of commercial "nuttiness." My favorite that I love to hate is when the blondish guy starts eating his hot dog fromt he middle, which drives the dark haired guy absolutely nuts.

I know, you can't help but laugh. It never fails, but I'm glad to find some enjoyment out of TV commercials. : ) Thanks also for the best response.

ooohh...yuck. I'd forgotten about that one! When he raises his face up and there is chili everywhere? What adult do you know that does that? Please! Hahahaha. The sad part is that I laugh at all of them!
