I loved the wizard of oz. The scarecrow was my favorite character from that movie. But my favorite line was "Toto, I dont think we are in Kansas anymore" and "I do believe in Ghosts, I do believe in Ghosts...I do I do I do!!!! Do You remember "The wizard of oz?" And what was your favorite character and line from the movie?

I actually loved the sequel to Wizard of Oz, Return To Oz, I know the Wizard is the classic but I think the second is totally under-rated, although the music was great in the first one. If only we could tap our shoes three times and we could be whisked away to a place of paradise! Sorry my imagination works OTT. Favourite character? The Wicked Witch of the West and that cackle! She scared me as a kid, and I cheered amongst hundreds of others kids in the cinema when Dorothy threw water over her! I like the line 'My little pretty'Wicked Witch speaking to Dorothy! Oh and I loved the little dog, Toto!

"There's no place like home, there's no place like home." I too loved the Wizard of Oz and still watch it from time to time. Last time was with my 4 year old grandson a few months ago - he wanted to watch it but we decided to watch something else and wait until morning to watch that - he got scared watching it less than a year ago. I love the Munchkins and the Scarecrow best.

Oh he was fine watching it the next day. I just didn't want him to watch it before going to bed incase he was scared again I didn't want him to be awake all night or have bad dreams.
He loved the Munchkins and the witches flying monkeys best.

I loved this movie as a kid. One reason was because we got to stay up late. As for when I was a kid their were no VCR's or DVD'd so it was on once a year and that was it. No cable, nothing. The "Wizard of Oz", "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang", and "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" were very special movies for most of us when we were kids.
My favorite character was the "The Tin Man" and my favorite line was "Follow the yellow brick road, follow the yellow brick road." I catch myself from time to time just saying that line for no real reason but it always brings a smile to my face.:)
Last summer while at our local flea market, which has many vendors that sell brand new items I ran across this purse and immediately had to have it, it's of "The Wizard of Oz" I paid only $15.00 for it and it's one of my favorite purses.:) Have a look!:)

My favorite character was the cowardly lion - he's a lovable character and he proves that courage isn't lack of fear, it's overcoming your fears.
"There's no place like home..." is my favourite line because it's so true.
