Now as a woman it is normal to have a period and all that stuff. I was wondering how much blood you actually loose throughout a heavier 7-day period. I am on a diet and I was wondering if you actually are dieting will your period contribut to your weightloss. I highly doubt it's a significant amount, but still I am curious.

Period is very normal every month in a woman's life. Its not a blood loss.It is very normal way of bringing out the wastage of the body. However dieting can harm it. Plan your diet from some dietician.Any planned diet will not harm your period.

For every bit of blood that you loose during your periode your body will generate more.So it will not contribute to any weightloss.Right before and during your periode your body tends to store more water in your cells which can contribute to weightgain during that time....but this is not a permanent thing and goes away in a few days.

Im not sure of the amount but its not lots. And im 99% it wont contridute to weight loss since its not fat you are loosing. if you are trying to loose weight im assuming its because you want to loose fat.

I would recomend talking to your doctor about this. I personally seem to gain wait when on my period. :( But it always goes away again. Still sucks though.
