I donate blood every 8 weeks and I do consider it to be a priority. I feel that as long as I am blessed with good health, I should do what I can to help those who are in need.

Yeah, I think it's important for people to give blood if they are able. I try to give blood whenever the blood drives come around. It always makes me feel really good to know that I'm doing something to help others that way.

Its good that you consider it a priority. I went to donate blood once and they told me I couldn't because my blood clotted to fast. I never tried again but I should probably check into it. Its a good thing to do.

I'd love to donate blood (my father has donated blood for more than 30 years now), but I'm scared of needles :/ I already get very nervous when I have a simple bloodtest so I'm afraid I'm not ready for it just yet.

I have thought of it before, but at this point I have never done it. My boyfriend has donated blood on numerous occasions, and I suppose it would be a good idea for me to do it too. Now that I'm no longer on medication, now would be a good time.

Donate blood 'n save life....... - Donating blood may reduce the risk of heart disease for men and stimulate the generation of red blood cells.
There are many benefits donating blood socially as well as physically also. Donating blood may reduce the risk of heart disease for men and stimulate the generation of red blood cells. In patients prone to iron overload, blood donation prevents the accumulation of iron. The amount of toxic chemicals circulating in the blood stream is reduced by the amount contained in given blood. You could save someone's precious life! Blood is a medicine that can only be given from one person to another - no other source is currently available. Volunteer blood donors are needed on a daily basis to give blood for the thousands of patients who need it. So always help by donating blood.

ya its a high priority to me i guess..its real humanity to donate the blood whenever someone is in need.. we people should be in need for ourselfs and there should not be any hesitation in doing that..and it also has been proved that donating ur blood once or twice in a year keeps the body in good condition coz it regenerates the blood and keeps the body fresh and healthy..
