Selling digital items on eBay...a new form of residual income?

I haven't used eBay in a long time, and I have all these PLR ebooks I got in these free giveaways these few years ago. I was wondering, is it possible to sell my PLR ebooks (ones that I can sell in auctions) on eBay? Because I don't have any money to pay for shipping with physical items. I want to make some residual income, and I was thinking that digital items like ebooks are reloadable and can be resold in auctions over and over again.
