From the interview with JKR on mugglenet: MA: Was there anyone else present in Godric's Hollow the night Harry's parents were killed? JKR: No comment. If the answer was a straight-out "no", I don't think she would be coy by saying "no comment". I think that means "yes", in typical JKR fashion. So who else could have been present when James and Lily were killed? Wormtail? Is that how he got Voldemort's wand? If so, what did he do with it for all the years he was Scabbers? Who else? A death eater? Snape?
