how many roses have you had maximum from a boy?

i have recieved as many as a couple dozen roses at one time...yet the flower i remember most fondly was from the little boy who lived next door to me when i was a child...there was an old eccentric woman who lived down the block from us...she had cats..no kids... we children were convinced the house was haunted...with overgrown hedges and wild gardens...the old woman had no patience for us neighborhood kids and we all were conviced she was a witch and could cast horrible spells on us...perhaps lure us into her old house where we would be tortured and never seen or heard from again!!...as we passed the old house after school one spring day i commented on a beautiful bush of blue flowers growing in the womans yard... the color of the flowers was my very favorite color...later that day...the boy came by my house with one of the beautiful flowers...i thought he was the bravest most romantic man i would ever meet...that he would risk going in that crazy womans yard for me was just unimaginable in my little 6yr old mind...i will never forget that little boy...or the flower he risked his little life for!
