Lose weight ideas needed

I need to lose weight, I admit to it, I'm not wanting to be the infamous 00, I just want to be a healthy weight for my height, what is the best method you have found? I'm not good with weighing things, well apart from myself:-), I find it too time consuming and boring, unless its for a recipe.

Well, the biggest and most helpful thing you can do is cut out any of the sodas you drink. At least switch to diet, you won't believe how much difference it will make. Drink water. But not too much, because this will only lead to bloating and too many trips to the bathroom. There are a bunch of negative calorie foods you can eat for snacks and such, like celery, basically what it means is that it takes more calories to eat and digest the food than the food actually has. Another thing is cut down on the red meat (if you eat meat), and try to stick to chicken or fish. Chicken and fish better than any meat when it comes to dieting. Also, a lot of people think that eating any kind of fruit is ay in order to lose weight, but actually some fruits have too much sugar, so it actually sets you back. Grapes and watermelon are two of them. Then, of course, excersise as much as you can. If you use weights, make sure you give your body at least 24 hours to heal, as you are tearing muscles. Wow, never thought about fruit being high in sugar, seems so obvious now, I eat a heck of a lot of fruit. Thanks for the other advice.

The best would be to exercise and eat moderate food. But if you don't wanna go through that, then you can try "no eating after six" method. It means you will not eat after 6 pm.

I must admit, I do eat most dinners after 6, I might need to rethink my schedule.

dont eat after seven pm- I tried this for a year- no excercize, and I could eat anything I wanted- if I wanted Icecream for lunch and pzza for dinner, finejust as long as you don't eat after seven. 24 lbs fell off over the course of that year.Sincr then I've cheated, but I know the secret now so it doesn't matter
