There are some books which we end up reading again and again. I must have read "love story" by Eric Segal atleast 50 times, "FountainHead" by Ayan Rand thrice and "Bridges of Madison County" more than 5 times. Also read "Man and Boy" by Tony parson twice. does anybody else read the book over and over again ?

Those books by Mitch Albom - "tuesdays with morrie", "the five people you meet in heaven", and "for one more day". Also og mandino's "the greatest salesman in the world" and scott peck's "the road less travelled". For fiction, i don't normally read them more than 2 times.

I have read and re-read the Harry Potter series too many times to count. Although, each time I read Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince I still cry. I thought it would change, but it's like loosing that character over and over, only to re-read the series and have him return. I can't wait for the last one to come out, then my collection will be complete. And I will probably read them a few hundred times more until I perish. I have also read and re-read The Hobbit because I love that book so much. I would probably re-read the Anne Rice Mayfair Witches books. Those were really good also.

Most of the book I love have been mentioned already..."Phantom of the Opera", "To Kill a Mockingbird", and the Harry Potter stories. Others not mentioned are "Where the Red Fern Grows", The Mitford series of books by Jan Karon, and the Miss Julia books by Ann B. Ross. I also loved "Around the World in 80 Days" by Jules Verne. I'm waiting for my children to be old enough for me to read this one to them in the car.

I've read Dune and Dune Messiah multiple times. I have tried to read Children of Dune several times too, but have never been able to get interested in it. Usually when I make another attempt, I start from the beginning to get reacquainted with the story. Maybe if I just start with the third book I'll be able to get through it! I've also read Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit more times than I can remember!

Wow. I couldn't even begin to list them all. I'm constantly rereading all the books on my shelves by series or author. I've got most of the Stephen King and Dean Koontz books. I've got the Earth Children by Jean Auel series. I've got alot of the Wheel of Time Series by Robert Jordan. I've got quite a few in the series' by Faye Kellerman, Jonathan Kellerman and Patricia Cornwall. I've got all the Harry Potters except the 7th but that's on order already :) and the first one which I lent out and never got back. I've got the entire lord of the rings series. Ummm.. and many many more books :) Oh yeah, Diana Gabaldon's series which is just fabulous.

There are so many books that I've read over and over that I don't know where to start. The Outsiders by S.E.Hinton The Bible Every book the Amanda Quick has written Pirates by Linda Lael Miller etc. There is something comforting about rereading books. Kind of like meeting an old friend after a long parting.

I don't usually read books more than once. I have read Gone with the Wind several times though and I read The Stand twice. Other than that I haven't really read things more than once.

I have ready Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen and A Christmas Carol by Dickens many times. I do not usually like to read books more than once, but these two classics stand out for me. Also, a much more contemporary book and a very quick read is Weetzie Bat by Francesca Lia Block....kind of a fun, modern day book that I have read a few times for kicks...

I used to read and re-read my favorites, although now my reading time is more limited, so I tend to have a "to read" pile and only tackle those once. Books that I have read several times in the past...A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Alas Babylon, Island of the Blue Dolphins, Bridge to Terabithia. I'm looking forward to re-reading one of Philippa Gregory's novels soon for our book club. :)
