frankness is almost the same as being honest. if you're a frank person you will just tell what you see or what you feel regardless if you hurt someone's feelings, for instance inside the mall
"hey are you going to market? why are you wearingthose clothes while your inside the mall?" (and telling it infront of many people, isnt that embarassing?)

being silent for what is the truth is considered a lie. but there is another kind of lie and that is "white lies" means that you dont want to hurt or make a person feel bad that's why you didnt tell what is the truth.and most of our lies are considered white lies and that is not a sin since your intention is not to hurt someone's feelings

honest is being true stating what is seen or experienced as it is and not adding or subtracting facts according to one's observation.
