I'm really desperate for money right now and I have insane writer's block going on since I joined myLot (too distracting) so I took a few of the reviews I wrote on Epinions and submitted them for AC. Hopefully some of them get accepted. Do you use your written pieces exclusively for Associated Content or do you post the same piece in more than one place?

Never sell exclusive rights to the articles you submit anywhere and you are free to resell the article as many times as you want. I agree that myLot can be very distracting, but, for me, as long as I limit myself to a certain number of responses a day, it has proved to be a great source of ideas for my other writing. If I write a response that I feel has a lot of good ideas in it, I copy it and paste it to an idea document on my desktop and expand it into an article to be sold elsewhere later. Good luck.

I haven't noticed any higher pay for offering exclusive content to AC, so figure may as well sell something to AC and to somewhere else. Getting paid by the non-AC company may end up giving you more than the price differential between exclusive and non=exclusive on AC, if there is one.

wow, I hate writing but at the same time I love it. I am more of a discussion type writer and a childrens book writer, trying to write other things is tough but I may try to do some reviews as those are a lot easier for me to do....No worries I know I too am hoping to try to make something out of this mylot but feel I need to have much more referrals actually being active and though I have many referrals only a handful are actually active on here.

Until I found AC, all I wrote was short stories, and they don't pay for those. I recently quit Suite101 and did submit those articles to AC though.

I write separate pieces for each place that I write, but I use the same subject sometimes. I just rewrite it from a different angle or something. That makes it much easier for me to write, than trying to come up with something totally different, but I can still make it enough different for them to be separate articles.

I write reviews for epinions also. But if I ever get writer's block, I head on over to Helium and rate articles. The topics on there give me many ideas for articles to write for AC. Have you written an article regarding Saint Patrick's Day? You have until Thursday to send it in a timely manner.

I usually just write each piece for whomever with exclusive rights. I guess I feel like there are a ton of topics out there. My difficulty is not coming up with what to write but actually sitting down and doing it! Once I get started I am ok writing, I just seem to be the classic procrastinator. I have a book that deals with writer's block (it's actually in the shape of a block) and you can open it anywhere and get an idea of something to write about. Otherwise you could check out headlines in the news or see what people are looking up online to get some ideas.
