Yes, I always find it easier to concentrate with music in the background. The people at work insist on playing modern pop music on the radio, but at home I usually play Puccini or verdi while I am on the computer.

i listen to music. when im in my free time or when i work. i take my psp and put it in my pocket and i work while i listen to music. i cant listen to it while im studying because i do get distracted. i listen to rock bands, like emo ones.

When I was a student I separated the two things, first study then music. Now that I work, it is usual to me to listen to music while working. I listen hard rock music and it helps me stay focused.

I always listen to music, but the type of music I listen to depends on what I;m presently doing. Like right now - I'm simply researching/participating in discussions, so I'm listening to my favorite songs of various genre. Later on, when I get down to reading and writing my articles, I will be listening to Classical music.^^

Opera is a little hard for me to listen to while I'm studying because I want to pay attention to the opera when I listen. Sometimes I listen to classical when I study. Sometimes if I'm doing math home work or something that doesn't require me memorizing chapters I will listen to Tori Amos or Portishead.

Usually when I am working it is generally quiet, so I can concentrate on what I am doing. I get to singing to much or like to dance sometimes when music is playing so it is distracting in some instances. But when I am just playing on-line I will have my music playing and let myself relieve some stress.

Yup I do, but non-opera music. I listen to some quiet rock or duyster music. For example the Simple Minds, great to work with their music, very energic drums which gives you that little energy it does go faster..or you may think that it goes faster :)..

I listen to all sorts of music, depending on what I'm doing. If I'm surfing the web, it usually just depends on my mood. If I'm working on something, I usually choose something quieter. If I'm studying, I usually prefer music without words or none at all; otherwise, it's just too distracting.

I always listen to music, when i study subjects like Eco, i prefer not to listen to music but when i study Maths or something like that then i listen to Rock, Metal and sometimes Soft soothing music.

i usually listen to popular songs, RnB, actually everything! whether i study or work or just chillin', i listen to same kind of songs. what i just do is change the volume.. when i study i set it on a low volume and when i'm just chillin or cleaning my room i set on a higher volume...

When I study, I listen to CSN because it makes my mind relaxed and easily absorbs the information I'm reading or studying about....

I love 60's music I listen to it in the car , when I am doing the ironing and when I have a go on my hubby's exercise bicycle , I gives me more energy , I also sing along lol xx

I like to listen to up beat music when I clean. I listen to allot of Fergie, black eyed peas and music like that.
