Help! I am 7 months on the way and I need help with my itchy abdomen. I've tried lotions of different kinds to help ease the itching, but it still bothers me a lot. I know it really is part of pregnancy as this isn't my first, but I'm wondering if there's a relief some of you might now of tha I don't.

when i was pregnant, i used to have these itches.this itching is occurring because it is strtching out and so it tends to make it dry.it needs moisture to allow elasticity.keep it moist to avoid stretch marks as well.. i tried using palmer's cocoa butter formula massage lotion for stretch marks worked for me. some say you can use oatmeal and water mix then rub it in your tummy.your call!

We are in the same boat. i am 36 weeks pregnant and going crazy with this ithcy belly. i put tons of vitamin E gel all over and then a thick layer of cocoa butter on top of that, and yet, i still have dried out skin. i can even see that its peeling a little. its so gross. i just keep putting lotion on, even though its not really easing the itch.

You can try rubbing virgin coconut oil on it. Dryness of the skin could also contribute to the itchiness.

try to wipe your itchy tummy with washcloth that was dipped in lukewarm water, and if it still itchy, just tap it, dont scratch..
