impact of budget on salary persons?

well many like me are not much interseted in the annual budget prsentation besides looking out for the income tax slab. this time standard deduction has been raised by 10,000 to 101000rs. But in the same time also education cess has been increased by 1% to 3%. so what here relevant to others is that what are the other others things that are actually relevant to us? that is sales tax or any other tax or scheme proprosed is beneficial to common man or not?
