NO no no no! Just like all the other remakes Hollyweird
has been producing over the last ten years, no. This is
a cult classic that should not be redone. Hollyweird has
run out of ideas recently and is always looking to make
a quick easy buck.
A movie like this, that has survived the test of time, can
not be recast. That would be like recasting the role of
Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca with Brad Pitt. It just
shouldn't happen. Hollyweird needs to find fresh screenplays for new movies, instead of ripping off the
public with remakes.

I don't understand why people would want remakes
at all. However. When it pertains to super heroes,
new adventures can be created for them to undertake.
So it really doesn't matter whether there are different
actors in these roles. People go to these movies mostly
for the character and not the actor.
Other movies like Casablanca, Rocky Horror Picture Show,
Cool Hand Luke, Godfather, Forrest Gump, Green Mile and
so many others in different genres are a one time shot.
Sure, you can film a remake of any movie but Hollyweird
is at least smart enough to know which ones they can and
cannot make money off of.
Could you see Harry Potter being recast? How about Rocky?

I do fully agree with you when you talk about classics like 'gone with the wind' or the 'godfather' but there's something interesting here, u referred to new adventures of a super hero well Batman for instance they made many batman films or tv series but still i accept the idea of the remake also with harry potter but when i talk about Rocky (Stallone) i don't at all
So is it the new adventures or continuations always ?? (i wouldn't accept Grease II) or is it about the actors who played that part, i mean if the continuation done by the same actor it is fine but from someone else it is different, i still haven't reached the criteria by which the remake is acceptable or not, in other words, i know if i accepted or not but i dont know why
And once again i saw an old version of the phantom of the opera and the new version i love the old one but i did like the new one too, damn it looks easy but it is not, the criteria i digging 4 the criteria. Thank you for the response.

I agree with you. U can't recast Humphrey Bogart or Jack Lemmon but but what about movies like Batman or classics like Phantom of the Opera. Let me say this: what would be the category with which i could say the remake is good or not good. Thank you for the response.

Oh you mean a remake? haha, thats challenging.
frankly my friend i dont like the movie much. it was a big disappointment for me. but I think should a remake is in the works, Tim Curry's character should be played by rob schneider. he is a great actor and very talented.
Suazan and richard, well i think ANYONE can do them.

Honestly the Rocky Horror Picture Show is a classic and one of my favourite musical films, Regarding my question, actually during their time i don't think anyone could have done it better than the three of them, they were great but my question is about now what if they've decided to make another rocky horror picture show whom you'd pick. Thank you for the response and for being around.

Sorry i read ur answer NO ONE can do them. Well if you say (Anyone can do them) i may feel a bit conservative about that especially when it comes to Richard.
