A chance? They are like 4 games ahead with something like 22 games left to play. I don't know how NBA Tiebreakers work, I think it's head-to-head record, but either way, the Nets have to win at LEAST 4 games more than the Raptors do to unseat the Raptors as the division winners. Even IF both teams are truly .500 teams, there is only a 32.3% chance of that happening (according to my calculations)

Some more figures: Raptors .600 team Jersey .500 team: 7.83% chance of losing title Raps .550 Jersey .500 16.78% chance of losing title Raps .450 Jersey .500 57.3% chance of losing title Raps .450 Jersey .450 31.95% chance of losing title You can see that unless Jersey is truly a better team than us, chances are ridiculously low of us losing it now.

Not that I have done any math to back it up, because there are way too many factors to consider, but I think the team we have the highest chances of facing is the Miami Heat. If they crawl up to 5th place or if we get into 3rd, we'll end up facing them. I hope I'm wrong and it ends up being the Bulls or Pacers. The Raptors have at least 16 easy games left ahead of them. Both the Cavaliers and Wizards have much tougher schedules left than the Raptors do, maybe 2nd place isn't out of the question. The only team near them in the standings that seems to have as close to an easy schedule is the Bulls. This could lead to us facing the Wizards in the first round. So it's a really tough call. If the Raptors can get win tonight though, it'll be a lot easier to say we can end up in 2nd and face the Pacers or Magic, otherwise the Bulls or Heat. My vote is still for the Heat right now because they can end up anywhere in the standings, just like the Raptors.

The Raptors facing the Heat looks more and more likely by the day, unless the Bulls fall or unless the Cavaliers REALLY fall. In order of likelihood our first round opponents: Miami Chicago Indiana Orlando New York New Jersey Cleveland Detroit (The last two are probably less than 1 in 1000 chance)

I forgot to include Washington who should be 3rd on that list.
