SM Mall of Asia is the largest shopping mall in the Philippines and considered the 6th largest shopping mall in the whole world. It opened May 21 year 2006. It is owned and operated by SM Prime Holdings under the management of a chinese-filipino business tycoon known as Mr. Henry Sy. One of the mall's main attraction is the first ever IMAX theater in the country though I haven't try it yet but I would like to try someday. It has also the philippine's first olympic sized ice skating rink and describes as the biggest of it's kind in Southeast Asia. And a lot more standard anchor stores. So what are you waiting come visit the mall of asia.

yes it's really very big & all that you need you can find . there's a lot of entertainments also & recreational places that kids & adults may enjoy the whole day roamming around ! it's really wonderful that you can find wonderful restaurants to dine & shop variety of choices for clothings , home furnishings , tools , office supplies , kids stuffs & many many more . . . we really miss the Philippines big malls around different cities 'coz here in U.S. we don't have as big as SM or mall of Asia Malls that usually " We Got it All for You " that have different shopping centers , cinemas & all other stuffs & things to enjoy in just one place . our Malls here are just ordinary shopping center for clothes & toys then little dining shop. . .no grocery or supermarket within & much more no cinemas & skating rink inside :) .

I can relate to you angel_marie. Even here in Kuwait you can't find a mall as complete and as convenient as in SM... "We Got it All for you...." :) I suddenly remember the time when i'm still working in cavite where sM bacoor is just 5 peso away from my apartment. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and your experience..

I've only been there once and from what I can see it was a very big mall. Far bigger than all the previous malls I've been to in the Philippines. I was there for almost one whole day but I wasn't able to visit all the shops, restaurants, stores there. It was that huge. I'm from the Visayas so going there everyday would be expensive but I wish I could go back there one day.

Very Big! I think a day isn't enough to scroll the mall. The mall is almost complete. They got all the stores that you want. Mall of Asia have put the Philippines again on the map. However, i heard rumors that the mall's foundation isn't strong. If ever there would be big earthquakes, the mall will collapse. Remember, the land where Mall of Asia stands was part of Manila Bay. We don't know when the sea would take back what it owns.

huh.. that's very frightening .. Well, I think the contractors have already considered that scenario during design phase. otherwise engineering department / safety personel wouldn't approve the project, isn't it.
