just 3-4 days back i have purchased HP Deskjet F300 All-in-one series (ie. print, copy and scan), the printing quality is good but i am facing problems with my scanner, the scanning quality is not good (see the attached image), some lines appear during scanning, however the shopkeeper is trying to satisfy us that this the maximum output you can receive from personal series. however i am not at all satisfied, what shall i do, should i file a complain to the company? kindly help

I'm not having much knowledge in the area. But, I asked to my husb. He said HP deskjet F300 is good, he has given it to many customers, n never had such problems. So, u should complain to company.

i think you should increase the resolution of your scanner

the lines are more prominent and easily visible if i increase the resolution of the scanner

the lines are unusual to come out from a good quality brand of scanner. try cleaning the glass first, but if it still doesn't work you can inform HP technical support about your HP PSC F300 problem or you can ask for a replacement for your product. goodluck
