well its by its poo shooter! just look where is bum is and go under and you might see it. Also you might not be able to see it because it could be hidden in the fur!

Feline anatomy is not my field of expertise but my cat has a retractable peetom.

Sometimes they are so tiny it looks like they are not there when they really are. Some men are like that, too. :) When he goes pee pee, watch. You will see. Unless it ends up that your cat is really a she. In that case, you don't want her to have a peetom.

Are you sure you have a boy cat there? I know when our cat had kittens it was really ahrd to tell the difference. We were only able to figure it out because the litter contained bth genders.

Oh it's there alright he just has indoor plumbing not outdoor like dogs. Did you know that toms have barbs on their peepees. If you have ever been present when they are mating to female lets out a scream when it's over and that's because when the male is withdrawing the barbs cling.

Me and my boyfriend had that same concern about his cat. We thought for awhile that he was a she. But one day we were at petsmart and there was a lady there from one of the animal shelters and she just loved him. She was checking him out and she could tell by feeling down below that he was a he and that he was actually fixed. LOL we would of never known he is so furry that we can never see it. But we arent really worried there is just him so even if he wasnt fix there is no female cat to get pregnant. I also dont think the cat was a she because its never been in heat. LOL.

Well, if the vet has said your cat is a male, and he has been neutered, whether or not his peetom is present, he is still a male cat :) I just remembered that on my other male cat (I have two), I have never seen his, even when he cleans himself. But he is definitely male! :)

I've noticed that when my male cat grooms himself sometimes, his "peetom" is visible. It's kind of hard to describe the position, but he half sits on his back with his legs spread, to clean his inner thighs. Sometimes they clean the actual part itself, and usually it is visible. I wouldn't worry about it too much if he is otherwise healthy, and can pee just fine. Not to mention, he is also fixed and has no use for one lol
