It depends. Sometimes I do wanna go to the cinema, but sometimes I just wanna cuddle up next to my bf with his arms around me watching a movie in the sofa at home.. Eating alot of unhealthy things and just pig out *ha ha ha*

The last time we were at the movies was when I was 8 months pregnant, which was almost 4 years ago. We watched "Under the Tuscan Son". It was a nice movie where a divorcee went to Italy under the expense of her psychiatrist friend and she ended up living there. Now we rent dvds from Netflix and watch them at home. We love it because it's convienient and we always get a good seat in the house and we eat whatever we want without the restrictions. In the cinema, if you bring pizza or any kind of fast food in, they won't let you do that. They only allow the foood that you buy in the movie theater.

Of course, watching at cinema is much different than home. Big screen, better sound effect.

I don't really prefer one to the other so much. But if it's a movie coming out & it looks REALLY REALY good then I wanna have that theater experience! Like "V for Vendetta" had I seen it at home the first time it wouldn't have had nearly the same impact on me I don't believe!

I used to love going to the cinema but now I love watching movies at home. We bought a big screen with surround sound so we don't miss that aspect of the theatres anymore. It is also conveniant because if you need to take a rest room or snack break you can pause it and not miss anything. It is also a lot cheaper and you can stay in your pj's. But it is still nice to go to the cinemas once in awhile but we have young kids so it's pretty much kids movies we see there.

i prefer to watch in my home in my home theatre. As i am having a kid of 1 year it will be difficult to manage her in the theatre. It will be nuisance to those who have come a long way for theater because of her long scream.so will bring the theater effect in our home and will watch the cinema in our convinience.

I usually prefer to watch at home so I can pause it and get up if I have to. I get uncomfortable sitting 2 hours straight. I also like being able to rewind the movie if I miss something. I also like being able to eat whatever I want at home while watching instead of the unhealthy movie theater snacks.

I'd rather watch a movie in my home since its more convenient and cheaper. I can watch it whenever I like and watch it or some parts of it over and over again. I won't even be annoyed about other people being too noisy. I do go the cinema occasionally though especially when I'm with friends or family coz it serves as sort of bonding time for me and my family and friends.
