Looking for inspiration...

Dinner - A well planned dinner menu is a great thing!

Well it's after 10:30am and I still haven't decided what to pull out for dinner this evening. I was extremely busy with family business over the weekend and didn't do my weekly menu. Now we're just winging it for the week. I'm sure I'm not alone in getting tired of deciding what to cook. I'm usually very good about the weekly menu and it certainly helps as the week progresses. I'm just not feeling inspired today. What's on your menu for dinner tonight? I hope that I'll get some inspiration from your ideas.

tonight we are going to prepare beef and... i don't know the exact translation but in italian we say PURé, it is a potatoes cream. You boil potatoes, when they're ready, just pull them with a fork and add salt and milk or cream.

If you drain the potatoes before you pull them then that's what we call mashed potatoes. I do have some in the freezer as we were given a number of potatoes last month and I find they don't keep much over a couple of weeks for me. Thanks for responding.

We are going out for dinner tonight as it is mother-in-laws birthday. When I am looking for inspiration, I tend to look at the ground beef options. Shepards Pie, Sloppy Joe, Tacos or Taco Salads, Meatballs made into Meatball Sandwiches, or just a build your own burger night with lots of good toppings, etc....I actually have lists of recipes that we like with each kind of basic meat...it helps with menu planning....Good Luck !
