We all have suffered this...bad jokes from the bullies, friends or some bunch of jerks laughing at you. We all have our defects, way to talk, walk,, move and speak. Why do many kids and teenagers make fun of people making them sad? Here I noticed that very phew know at least the basic rules of being polite, the rest well...you know. Even today some kids were trying to make bad jokes like imitating my defects, trying to be funny. Can't they see how does action affects the victim and can't they see that their behaving makes them look like clowns and stupid? I deal with them just ignoring them. How do you deal with these kind of people?

First, I accept my defects, then I ignore them and prove to them that I am much more better than them.

just like the general society, kids have deteriated as far as any form of manners go. As for making them selves look stupid, they are not. Even more so when surrounded by friends. Not to say they do not act stupid and most would disagree with the behavior but societ is survival of the fittest. If you have a flaw at work it is pointed out. This is where they learn it. I know this isnt being explained right but the more different a person is, the more outcast they are. The more simular they are, they are more likely to be accepted. Phyusical issues are just the first observation thus more likely to be attacked.

they want to confirm and assert that they're somebody or something. The need to be recognized sometimes lead to bullying. When you bully others, that means you've got something others don't.

Unfortunately, people will make fun of others just to make themselves feel better and look better to others. Most of us have had someone make fun of us for wearing glasses, weight, not being athletic or whatever. Someone that makes fun of someone with a disability is just rude and inconsiderate. In either case, you just have to learn to ignore them even though I know how hard that can be. I wish you the best.
