can you believe that finally the truth is coming out and I.Lewis "scooter" Libby was convicted tuesday for lying, and obstruction a leak investigation that reached into the highest levels of the bush administration? It is just amazing that the number one person in the White house would let something like this happen. Makes a person stop and take a second look at who are sitting up there making decisions for us...what is your opinion...is it fair for him to only get 25 years? I think they should ship him to Iraq with a cantan and rifle on the front line with out troops.

Unfortunately a great man took the fall on this one. Scooter Libby was prosecuted for political reasons. Keep in mind Prosecutor Fitzgerald was appointed to investigate the crime of leaking a CIA operative. Richard Armitage (FMR Deputy Secretary of State) admitted to this crime, yet went uncharged. Scooter Libby was prosecuted for purjury in a case where no laws were actually broken and therefore his testimony was not important. I don't understand how they let this happen.
