Have any of you every noticed that the foster care system has become a money game. THere is no one caring about the children any more. How can you give someone almost $1000 a month to care for a child and then their own birth parents will not even get half of that. Most foster paretns do not care about the children that are in the home. I know for a fact that my own mother would not keep the children she has if she was not getting the money for them (I am her natural child) that is probably the reason that I was raised by my grandparents because the B***** could not get any money for me. What does everyone think about this..... THere are so many satistics out there about how people are getting torn apart for no godd reason

They amount of money that a foster parent recieves is decided by where they live and the cost of living.A foster parent has the choice of recieving money or not. There are some requirements that a person must face to become a foster parent, i'm not saying that the system always work. But have you ever considered that most of what you have heard about the foster system is through the news? How often do you hear about the good thingd in life on the news? You don't. I know that there are some bad foster homes out there but there are also some excellant ones that are helpful to the children.
