K-Fed the better parent?

Here's a scary twist, it looks like Keven Federline may be looked at as the better parent in the custody battle with Britney Spears. It's being reported that during her 3rd stint in rehab she attempted suicide and is now on suicide watch. I'm not a big fan of either of them, but holy cow this girl has some problems. Maybe given this new development he is the lesser of hte 2 evils. I wonder how come Spears mother hasn't stepped up to the plate as far as the kids are concerned? Just goes to show money doesn't buy everything. What is your opinion? Should either of these two be considered a suitable parent? He's a little off kilter, but doesn't seem to have the issues she does.

Yeah, who ever thought he'd turn out to be father of the year? I feel really bad for those kids. Grandma needs to step in and take care here. Very very sad situation.

I've worried about Britney's children for a while now. I'm not sure Kevin is the best man for the job, but wthout knowing anything more about him that what is purported in the media, he may end up with the Father of the Year award. Britney, on the otherhand, has some serious issues and she is dire need of some serious help. I don't know why Britney's mother is not stepping up to the plate to care for these children, but because she hasn't stepped up, I think less of her. But for that matter, what about the other family members?
I wish them all the best, and I agree, if the media would leave them alone, maybe they could work out their family issues.

It appears as though in the beginning of Britney's career her mom was always around. I wonder if she is distancing herself as to not hinder the other daughters career. If that's the case it's horrible. I did some pretty lousy things when I had my oldest and my mom was the first one in line to smack some sense into me so to speak. I can't help but think all this media attention isn't too good for Britney either, I don't like her music or the role model she has turned out not to be, but I have to feel for her just for the fact everytime she turns around someone is there to take a picture and cash in on her problems.
