pizza or stromboli?

basically the same thing, but which do you prefer? pizza or stromboli?

i like both but stromboli is not always available in our place & not easy to prepare at home. . . i love homemade pizzas since i know what i can put as my toppings & i'll just buy the ready made crust for much convenient preparation ! i usually made pizza w/ pepperoni , mushroom , tomatoes , pineapple , bell pepper , onions , white sauce , shredded lettuce , olives , ham & loads of mozzarrella & parmesan cheese .

I have never heard of shredded lettuce on pizza. That is different. I used to make home made deep dish pizza all the time when my kids were a little younger. Now with them being in sports and bouncing around everywhere, it is easier to just order out. I miss it home made though.

shredded lettuce, what an idea! I remember back in the 70's mom had a receipe for a dish with cooked lettuce and I've always wanted to find it again! She made it a couple of times then seemed to have lost it.

I love them both!! but I would rather sit down and have a big over stuffed stromboli. :) yum!!!!

a stromboli is basically a folded pizza and then sealed at the edges. Stuffed with all of your favorite toppings!!! :) yum!!!

Hummmm, that's a tough choice, as I love both very much. Perhaps if you make me choose, then I will lean a little to pizza. Lots of cheese and veggies.

Pizza is my all time favorite food... but I do love a good Stromboli too! I think it would depend on how hungry I was. I have to be really hungry to want a Stromboli because they are so filling.

I think they are very different.....and 9/10 I'd choose stromboli. My favorite stromboli contains ham, cheese, onions and green peppers!! Now I'm hungry and I just had breakfast :)
