There are so many causes out there in this great big world that need our help. From the homeless to the air we breath. If you just took one day out of a month and give it to a cause, You are making a differences. I work with the youth and to me, that is my calling. I visit elderly people that have noone to talk to and we sometime go eat, shop, or just sat and they tell me about back in the day. I have learned alot from them. It makes me feel good. That is my cause. Every human on this planet should do something for this planet. Hey! it is our home. We are the ones that have to live here. Why are we letting it go? I plant a tree in memory of someone every year. My youth have adopted a road and we pick up trash every Saturday morning. I would love to hear your ideas and what you have done for our big beautiful home that we all live in.

Hi, yes you are right there are many causes out there in the world we live today that need our help. It would make a difference wouldn't it. Well I have taken homeless into my home and also cooked food for some of the children that the parents don't care whether their children have eaten or not, and also there was a woman that lived near me and I told her that when she went to work not to leave her little girl by herself and that I would look after her no money of course I just wanted to make sure that she was safe and when the mother came home she could take her home or leave her there until the next day, also there were another two children I looked after when there mother was not home rather than leave them by themselves and this lady trusted me so much that when she got remarried and went on her honeymoon and went overseas the children stayed with me as by that time I was like a mother to those two children, infact they called me Mum,.

One or more can make a difference. It's possible to be driven by team work. =) (Not being picky, just adding my views) I haven't really done much recently like you've mentioned. although, I did used to help others and my parents a lot, both inside and in the garden. I also used to help a elderly women who lives up the close we're I live. Personally it's rewarding and I wish to find time in the future to lend a hand more. For now I can't, although it's nice to hear this bicklelady. Kudos, ~Joey

I know what you are talking about. It seems like the older you get, the less time you have. There are many things out there that can help. You just have to follow your heart.
