Yup another vent. VENT. Okay. The person I know that is getting married, had her bridal shower two days ago now. It would've been nice if I was invited, but I wasn't. So whatever right what am I going to do, pee in her cornflakes LOL.. So anyways, my fiance comments on her journal that "It would've been nice to know about the shower, we could have made arrangements" ...and she fired back "Well I sent her an email, and she didnt respond so I assumed she didn't want to go". Um, no. I didn't receive *any* email. Is this another case of "lost in the email" syndrome. And no folks, its not in my junk mail or spam mail folders, nor in my trash. So I said calmly back "well I didn't receive any email from you." Which is true I didn't receive an email. And she says "well I sent it to your hotmail account!" Um, no. Anyone who has known me and has actually paid attention to what I say, would know that for the past 5 or more years, I have had my filters on hotmail set to exclusive. Meaning if you are not on my msn messanger list, you are NOT getting an email to me at that address. So anywho I mentioned this, because SHE KNOWS THIS. And nothing. So yeah I am not impressed. To me, if you are sending out an important email such as that, you would take the inititive to double check, and check in with the person to make sure they received such email. She didn't bother and I did point this out to her. To me, how I feel is this. If it was that important to her for me to be there, she would've checked in with me, which she did not. So whatever. I am not bothering. LOL whats the point in arguing over something which I cannot change? Waste of energy. All I know is , since this whole thing has gone on , me and a couple of other members of my family have been excluded by her and I find it VERY rude that she's doing this. She's said over and over again that she's not. Oh yeah? Why is it then for a bleepin' month i've been told I would be mailed an invite for the reception? UH NO nice try, but from the Lower Mainland to Kamloops it does not take a month. So no thanks. Secondly, another family member of mine and I talked today, and they found it *very* rude that she SWORE up and down that we were close, but opted me out of her wedding because I have kids. YES you heard that right. I am done. I am so done with this crap. I mean come on folks this is MY FAMILY. The old saying is def. true. You can pick your friends, but you can't pick your family. Ugh.
