my biggest pet peeve ever.....part 2!

I posted earlier about calling a company,as a new customer to order a satellite dish.....well,after waiting exactly 2 hours they finally answered!This is how my conversation went with them..... Service Person.....'Good afternoon,Star Choice Satellite TV,Can I take your order' Me....Can you hold please? I went to my other line and left them there......I know they probably never waited for me to return and I'll have to call again tomorrow,but I don't care,just the satisfaction of doing what they did to me made my day better....Just thought I'd share

I was so upset by the time they answered.But when I called back the next day,I wasn't on hold at all

try direct tv -- they are much better- couldn't hurt to call and ask if they would transfer you over to their service. 800-531-5000-- sometimes it pays t shop around

LOL...that is funny!!I've been there many times myself....but I never thought of doing that.To me the worst oart is when you been sitting on hold for ever and then they just hang up on you.....how rude is that?

haha! thats good! even better is those that put you on perma hold and you leave them on speaker phone for about a hour... speaker lets you do other things and lets them feel a tad guilty of the permahold *hopefully*

Thank you for responding but you really had to read the first part first where I talked of my waiting and waiting....I was so tired of waiting that I HAD to do it back to someone.....thank God for someone beeping in just as they answered or I probably wouldn't have done it at all
