I Love Trivia. I am hooked on "Who wants to be a Millionaire" - I watch it all the time and I always learn something new each time. How about you - what piece of trivia can you offer that maybe is native to your country or your state? Or about anything that you think the rest of us would like to know? I am anxious to see the responses.

I would not call myself a "trivia buff" but I really do enjoy trivia. My favortie is the useless trivia. The stuff you aren't sure why you know you just do. My boyfriend though is a trivia buff. He seems to just absorb everything like a sponge. Whenever I need to know something I ask him and if he doesn't know he learns. It's great! Anyhow...you did ask for a piece of trivia as well...Did you know that not one of the Presidents of the USA was an only child?

Hmmm...let me see I guess I am a trivia buff when it comes to 80's music which drives my husband nuts. I am forever asking about songs and the artisits, etc. Let me tell you a little piece of trivia about where I live. I live in upstate NY and most people assume that is Albany. Well, several hours above Albany, almost on the Canadian Border is UPSTATE NY...LOL....Also, Rachel Ray has a cabin in the Adirondack Mountains which is very near here. The snow scenes in the movie Horse Whisperer were filmed in Saratoga, NY which isn't too far from here. Harry Chapin sings a song about Watertown, NY which is a very small city close by and how he spent a week there one afternoon....how is that for warming up???

I like trivia, too. I used to be really good at knowing the names of the character actors on shows and movies. Name two character actors well known for their buggy eyes. Name the actors in the 1972 version of the film "Sleuth" and then the actors in the 2008 version. What is odd or unique about this film? No fair looking it up. :-)

I hadn't even thought of Goldblum (who has a new series.) I was thinking of Jack Elam and Marty Feldman. Sleuth starred Sir Lawrence Olivier and Michael Caine. The new one will star Michael Caine in the Olivier role and Jude Law in the Michael Caine role. What's odd is that although the opening credits list almost a half dozen ppl, there are actually only those two actors. And it's not like an Eddie Murphy movie where one person plays six parts. The "wife" is listed but all you see is her portrait in the study. And they name her "Eve Channing." (Additional trivia: where did that name come from?) The whole thing takes place in one location. And you never even realize it! The script, the acting, the directing are so incredibly excellent and compelling that you never even notice. I highly recommend it. More trivia: Besides me, Lesley Anne Warren and Tom Skerrit, what CSI star was in a CBS movie of the week called "In Sickness and in Health"? (My part was small; blink and you miss me.)
