Info on Eaton Axles

I have a rear Eaton axle out of a 72 chevy 2wd truck that im putting in a 4wd truck. I would like some info on how strong they are and how much abuse it can take. Would also
like to know if the corparate 14 bolt is strong than the
Eaton or about the same. Would like any input on this topic.
