Sometimes, I see people want to have response of every discussion. Even the same is requested through the discussions. I also think sometime to raise a request to response me but on the other moment I feel myself a little bit ashamed to do so. Whats your opinion? Should I raise a request bluntly or not? Give reasons in either case.

Yes, it is good to ask people to respond your discussions. Everybody has right to raise his voice, if it is not being heard. Nothing is to be ashamed of. I also do request to be attended. It really works just do it and tell me.

I think it's not necessary to request anybody to respond your discussions as such. We all are friends altogether and everybody is free to attend and express his/her thoughts frankly. A request or compulsition is not at all neede to participate the forum discussions because this is what is the main purpose of our registration in the mylot. Moreover everybody is getting paid for hie/her partcipation or for his time spent on the site, then anyone should wait or expect any requests. I personally feel everybody should take a thorough intrest in writing the resposes.

It's not a neccesasity but almost in every one of my posts I say something along the lines of, I'll be looking forward to any and all responses. I do it as an act of friendship not really worrying if I get any responses. Wehn I post a response in other members discussions I also sometimes say something along the lines, I'll be looking forward to reading others responses. So that's my comment. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDAPA BOB

Pardon me for being blunt. This seems like an exam question to me :P Ask yourself why are you posting the discussion in the first place? Do you post without expecting any response or post just for the sake of posting? Certainly, I believe that's not the case. Why? Personally, I pose discussions to get feedback for a "problem" I have in mind, and not for fun. Any member is free to share their opinions, views and even provide solutions which might help. Of course, no one is obliged to respond to your discussion.
