I always wanted to have an APPLE, a G4 Core Duo. But a friend said its not a wise buy for me because its not packed with softwares mainly for office use. Its also expensive. Do you agree?

It denpends what the computer is going to be used for. If your into graphics and art, then get and apple. Anything else MS based.

If you are very capable of using Windows then I'd suggest it's time you try a different platform. That happened to me before, I knew all the Win platforms down to the bone but when it was time for me to take a computer proficiency test and 80% of their questions were related to MAC os then I had to study the OS of MAC. Try it, you'll thank yourself later. My most current MAC is a MAC Pro.

Yah, i agree. Apple is good for company use. If it is only intended for your personal use, i think you can go for Microsoft. Also, you might have problem when it comes to software with apple because, nowadays, people are more familiar with windows. but you still have the last say, if you feel that apple is more useful and more convenient for you, then go for it..... =)
