COMPUTERS?.. shall i go for a branded or NOT?

Im looking for a computer with a fast processor ang higher storage? Branded are quite expensive. A friend told me that those not branded are good as the branded one because both manufacturer uses the same parts.
Is it right? Do you agree that ASUS or Compaq is just as good as HP?

Assembled pc is always better than branded pc.The price of branded pc will be very high when compared to assembled pc.we can get the pc assembled as per our requirements.Some times if a branded pc is bought then in futer if you want to upgrade it then branded pc may give lot of problem.

One year back me and my husband bought new branded computer. Its really nice. Its didnot give any problems from the date we bought. You should buy/get branded computers with warranty. You will not regret buying branded computer. Best of luck.

Most of the time this is a safe bet. What matters is the guts of the computer, not so much the shell or manufacture. I would however suggest you get a warrenty. Also while the computer manufacture might not matter, you may want to apy extra to get a good printer (HP is the best I think) and maybe even a good monitor.

Which kind of computer you've taken interest into. Portable type or the home-use computer one. Branded are Indeed expensive. In case of home-use computer, i prefer to build one myself, it cost less or equal, and the performance just as fine as branded one.
Yet if you were asking about portable computer or notebook, it depends on your specified requirement. I couldn't really tell which is fine, unless you asked specialist of each brand(try to find the honest one).
