windows vista too expensive?

is windows vista too expensive? though it has some special features.. but the cost dosnt fit in the budget.should microsoft reduce its cost,will it effect its sales?

All I know is that Windows Vista is going to be VERY EXPENSIVE when it first comes out. I know this because I really wanted Halo 2 to be on PC. But the only thing that's holding me back on getting that is the fact that I have to get Windows Vista first.... and that thing is freakin' expensive.
