Where is SAM BRAUN now?

The last time we saw SAM Braun (Catherine Willows father) was when he got shot outside his casino along with Catherine. Is he dead or still alive?

I think he did die... can't remember, haven't watched in a while as my reception has been terrible due to weather lately. :o(

Sam Braun doesnt show up very often unless there is soething dealing with one of his own properties or is trying to make nice with Kat, but yes in fact Sam is alive and I am sure he's going to be showing up sooner than we think.
