What are the laws regarding cohabiting in your country? Here in Ireland you are either married or single, no common law status. If your single and living with your partner and have a child or two your still classed as single ie still paying top rate of tax, and neither you or your partner can claim tax relief/credits for your children. But yet if you are married you can., My personal view is that it stinks, It's discrimination as far as i can see, Ireland is ruled by a government not the church (believe it or not) What are your views on this?
