I am having a problem getting my ChaCha application to start up. I recently bought a new computer and I can't get the application set up right for some reason. When I start it it says Unable to Open application...and under details it says: the application has requested a version of the JRE (version 1.5+) that currently is not locally instealled. Java web start is unable to automatically download and install the requested version. This JRE must be installed manually. I have the newest java runtime environment on my computer. does anybody have any idea what I need to do to get my chacha application working? If i can get it going I have a FREE INVITE to give someone to join chacha. PLEASE HELP!!!

I know on my PC Java recently updated, within the last day or so. I would double check with the Java download site to ensure you do in fact have the newest version. It may be worth your while to uninstall and re install your Java and the ChaCha version you downloaded as either could be corrupt.

If you have Java 6, that will NOT work. You will need to delete your java, and redownload the Java 5 version. There have been quite a few posts regarding this. Check your Java Version (in control panel) and see what version you have. That could be what's hanging you up.
