How does a mood ring change its colour as soon as touched to our body?

Well to tell the truth I once had such a ring and never changed color. But perhaps it was a low quality one. However in my opinion it must have be something a bit more complicated than just detecting body heat because it's suppose to display a large array of emotions and while you can say for example that your hands get cold when you are nervous I think that among the emotions it was supposed to show there were some that don't affect the body temperature in any way. I might be wrong though. I'd be curious to see if someone actually knows how it works :) (I've been wondering about that too in the past :) )

Correction: instead of "it must have be" read "it must be" :D (I typed it fast because I'm in a bit of hurry, I have to get to work LOL)

hmmm let me give a quick guess. maybe it has something to do with our body warmness, for example, if you feel anxious, you'll feel your body slightly warm and it will change the colour of mood ring. i might be wrong :(

It is a comination of chemicals in the ring and your body heat (I hope you knew thatand are just trying to make a couple cents)

They do not make mood rings like they used to. The vintage ones are so cool and have the most vivid colors. I have several Sterling Silver Mood Rings for sale. Contact me at junkme3@aol.com or check out my listing on ebay.
