Am I the only one that thinks that Sanjaya is getting the tweenybopper vote and that by straightening his hair last night the hormones will run wild and he will get to stay? He has a fan club site already. The only sense I can make of it is that the girls are wild for him, because he is not talented at all.
Who else thinks he'll make it to the top 12?

He should be gone!! He was the worst one last week and did not do any better this week. I'm not sure if it the girls going wild for him or if they have some other way of making it. It is sad that the ones that went were better.

I think you may be right. I mean, he has an okay voice but he has no charm, no stage presence, and no emotion when he sings. He is just too young. I think he should have been gone last week.
I do think that straightening his hair will have a good impact for him and I am afraid that he will make it to the top 12. This is one of the biggest flaws with American Idol.
I just hope that he doesn't make it too far and really mess up the chances for the people who are actually talented.

apparently there is an entire site dedicated to voting for him and Antonella (another one that should be gone) so that might be why they are here. But I noticed something on the first vote off. Ryan said, with two guys standing there, one of you is going home and one of you is in the top 3 or 4 boys. Sanjaya was the one that was in the top 3 or 4. I can't believe that!

I don't that Sanjaya has much of a future in the music industry and I do think that it's the teen girls going crazy over him (although I don't know why). I will not be hoping for him to make it through to the top 12 but I have a bad feeling that he'll get a lot of votes from the younger female crowd, so he might stick around.

I hope he doesn't make the top 12...he is not talented and yet I agree with you...I believe that he and Antonella will probably make the top 12 because of the Cute Factor...it certainly won't be because of talent...

I never thought of it,but your probably right because there cant be any adult that can really think he's any good. That would make sense on why he keeps coming back. He reminds me of a younger Prince.

I agree with you, the teenyboppers are keeping him in. He has a little talent, but not enough to have made it as far as he has. He straightened his hair and I think he may get to stay because of it! I don't think any of the guys will make it much longer.

I don't watch american idol at all. But my best friend was telling me last night that all the guys on the show stink. She doens't think any one of them will win. She also thinks the show this season is really boring, and the judges are pretty brutal. Kind of hard to find an IDOL when the whole talent pool is lacking.
