What is the Best Book that you would Recommend?

Sudoku - A little comic that I made up a while ago, showing how I felt as I bought a sudoku book. Hurried chores that day if any at all.

From any genre, I'm just curious to know what is good out there from literature. As well as from different genres, I need to expand my knowledge and entertain myself.

for science fiction the best would be the Foundation series by Isaac Asimov and 2001 A Space Odyssey by Arthur C Clarcke

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey is a classic. Nova by Samuel R. Delaney is a great work of science-fiction. Gratitude by Sam Hamill is some wonderful poetry. And I can probably think of about two dozen more great works if I really try.

Well i would personally recommend any of Torey Hayden's books if you like non-fiction. I've read 5 of her books so far and i still have a few to go and i really love them. You should give them a try and see what you think. All i can say is that after im done reading them, my brain works overtime thinking about how some people are blessed with the ability to help others that are in real need (in this case young children who have either been abused or have mental problems).

I am an author and translator of the Word of God from Greek to English. I have already published GENESIS, EXODUS, LEVITICUS (Greek-English), THE WILL New Testament (Greek to English), ELEMENTS of SALVATION, The Right Way, GOD, ORIGIN, TRANSFER into PERFECTION, GREEK-ENGLISH (Grammar & Vocabulary), WORDS in THE WILL New Testament, and others shown at http://www.lulu.com/arseniajoaquin Our basic knowledge in life originated from the first three books of the Holy Bible. I would therefore strongly recommend that you read GENESIS, EXODUS, LEVITICUS (Greek-English) first then hopefully the others too to understand the wisdom of God.
