If civilization collapsed, would you be able to continue?

Let's say there was a fast spreading contagious disease that killed 9/10 of the world's population. If there were no governments, no laws, no taxes, no currency... if the entire Western and Eastern civilizations suddenly fell apart would you be able to survive? No 9-5 jobs, no technology, no industry, no debts(!). Just rural life and probably mobs of bandits and pirates scattered around. Could you live in that world? Do you have any useful skills? Would you thrive there?

It depends on wether or not that disease killed the ones I care about, if it did I wouldn't want to live. If it didn't I would adapt to the new way out of necessity and find a way to take care of myself and my family.
