I love to eat apples. However, making it into juice is not so favourable with me. What are things we can cook, or do with this great fruit called apple? Other than telling us that Adam and Eve should not have eaten it in the garden of Eden, let us share what we have used apples for.

Peel, decore, and cut them up. Apples make good apple sauce that can be eaten or added to recipes like cakes insead of oil. Add sugar and cinnamon(sp?) to taste and make apple pies or just eat. There is a lot more but I am getting sleepy.

I think that apple is my favorite fruit. It smell and taste good and you can find them in all the countries. If I'm in the mood for fruit i like it, i like fruit like grapes, cherry's,strawberries etc, the smaller fruits that you can just pick and pop in you mouth. I haven't had an orange for years, there just too messy and my hands stink for hours but they are nice.

I am not a fan of apples or any fruit really. I do enjoy a nice apple turnover, they are very easy to make too. You can use canned biscuits and cooked apples. Spread the biscuit think, fill it with cooked apple and bake until brown. You can also have apple pie, apple ice cream, apple and cheese is good, apple and peanut butter.

I find apples are great because you can make so many different things with them , I make apple pies , apple crisp , baked apples , crepes , apple fritters and apple sauce . I love to get big bags in the summer or just get them off the trees as they never last in my house .

You can make a great apple pie:) Here's a recipe a friend sent to me... Ingredients: 1 ½ c. brown sugar 2 T. lemon juice 2 T. butter 4 T. clear-jel 1/2 c. water 1 ½ tsp. apple to pie spice 10 lg. apples, peeled and chopped Crumbs: 1 ½ c. flour 1 c. brown sugar ½ c. butter, melted Directions Combine the first 6 ingredients and boil on low heat. Add apples and stir until thick. Pour into unbaked pie shells. Crumbs: Mix together ingredients and sprinkle on top of pies. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Yield: 2 pies Variation: Can use 2 teaspoons cinnamon and ½ teaspoon nutmeg, instead of apple pie spice.

I love apple cider mixed with honey. It is for health reasons. I consider it the cheapest way to safeguard from a lot of ailments like rheumatism, athristis, bowel cleansing, etc. For those of you who have not tried it, you are welcome. I cannot think of any cheaper way to stay well.
