What was your worst or most embarrassing experience with your in-laws? Mine was about 3 months after we were married. Of couse we were still close to the honeymoon stage in our marriage so you could find us in bed at odd times.:) One particular sunday my husband and I were enjoying eachothers company in bed when we heard voices coming from our kitchen. My husband jumped up, put on his pants and went to see what was going on. It was the in-laws sitting at our kitchen table waiting for us. They gave my husband a sour face and said door was open so we knew you had to be home. My husband came back into our room and told me who was there and that they were waiting to have coffee. I could have died we had no idea how long they had been there before we heard them and the last thing I wanted to do was sit down and have coffee with them after this uncomfortable situation but they were not leaving so I got myself together and me and my red face went to make coffee for our unwanted guests. Ever sense that day we made a point of locking the front door.

Mine was when we were dating. We were in the kitchen with his grandparents and all of a sudden his grandmother tells us that she knows we are having intimate, because her grandson would not get married with out test driving first. HA HA

LOL...I never had to deal with that thankfully...mine was sort of a 9 months after that experience. I was in labor with our son and since he was my IL's first grandson, they were anxiously waiting in the waiting room and outside the door. Apparently my FIL decided since he didn't hear any screaming it would be a good time to pop in for a visit...without knocking first. The problem was, I'm not and never have been a screamer. Until that moment anyway when I screamed at him to get out of the room because the baby's head was crowning. I'm pretty sure he turned 5 shades of red and it took awhile for him to finally come back to visit after the baby was born.
