For those who are married/engaged, how did your significant other proposed to you? For those who are single or just waiting for your better half to propose, how'd you want them to propose? And just for any body, what's your dream wedding proposal?Me? I don't want it to be in a resto where people I don't know are watching. I'd rather that he'd surprise me in front of my family and friends. Maybe they could be "in" the plan with him, as well. The setting? Hmmm. I'm thinking, at a family reunion. And in the middle of the entire event, some kind of a movie presentation will play at the stage side. Playing there would be a video and compilation of all our pictures and times we've spent together. And at the end of the movie, would be a big writing of the big question. Yiiiheee! And when I say yes, flowers, balloons, and confetti will fall on the entire room. Weeeeeeeee. That'd be uberly sweet, donchatink?

I've had 4 proposals. The first one rented a car and took me to a fancy hotel. Then he said dinner was waiting upstairs in a suite. Before dinner he sat me down and stood in front of me while tapping his coat pockets and said..Pick a pocket. Then he got on one knee and told me how much he loved me, etc. pulled out the box and asked me to marry him. My reply was, Honey I'd love to marry you, but you don't have a job, you rented a car, got this expensive room and dinner, and that ring looks really expensive. Your mom is going to kill you for racking up her American Express Bill. Number 2 decided to have the ring put in my dessert while we were in Florida. The ring wasn't even my size. He got on his knees and told me a big fat lie about how his jeweler made it and he felt bad telling him he didn't like it, etc. My grandma was in Florida too so I stayed in her room. The next morning he asked me to go to his room and grab his receipts for his expense account. To my surprise I found a receipt for the ring purchased the evening before the trip at Lord & Taylor store. Number 3 took me to JC Penny and said pick out a ring, lol. Uh uh. Number 4 took me to the place we first met, bought me dinner, and then proposed in front of 100 people. He was the most romantic, but alas, he was no good. Whew, that's it for now, lol.

Lol, indeed. Wow, 4 proposals. I guess it's safe to say that proposal number 4 won't be the last, yes? Hey, thanks for your reply. I enjoyed reading it. :)

Well, I hope that I will get the final proposal sometime from the right guy. I think it would be really cool if I woke up one morning with the ring on my finger. Now that would be different.
