Salmonella poisoning!

Did you know that reptiles carry salmonella? This is something to think about the next time you let your child touch or play with a hoppy toad. My kids however do catch the critters but, I always make sure they wash their hands extremely well afterwards. Do you have a fear with reptiles and passing on salmonella poisioning to your child?

I actually did know this, although I just found out about it a few days ago while doing research for a reply I was making to a discussion here. Did you know pet turtles carry it? Not all of them, but it is impossible to tell which ones do.
