How is it that antibiotics reduce immune systems when they are in fact killing the things that your immune system cannot? They kill bad things (and some good things). You probably got better after you stopped talking them because you already took them and were getting over it. If you don't take them for the full course, your sickness can get worse. The body can't naturally recover sometimes, which is why anti-biotics were invented in the first place.

95%? Then why would anyone ever use or invent antibiotics in the first place? I think you would be surprised by how many people would die if antibiotics were suddenly stopped.

i think the person that invented this was a genius..but later on doctors found it the easy way to deal with sickness without letting the person and his body deal with it himself..yes it was invented (the penicillin) to deal with a deadly deasease but now we need the antibiotics only on extreme situations...today the antibiotics are a money "factory"

Anibiotics are good only for chronic and severe sickness. Pneumonia and tuberculosis is an example.Until the 1930s, there had been no chemical treatment available to fight bacterial infections in general. Now we are facing resistant bacteria and antibiotics are under question. In general I do believe that we have natural ability to cure ourselfs with fever. I did not take any anibiotyk for last 20 years.

Some people are allergic to it and so you should watch for a rash or some other type of reaction. Also, it is important that if you can take it that you finish the entire round of it. Antibiotics can save lives and are valuable in fighting bacterial infections. Just be sure you take it as directed and if you have any adverse reactions, you must contact your physician IMMEDIATELY!

Actually antibiotics also kills the friendly bectaria in our system that helps in many functions. Thats why taking antibiotics are not recommendable mostly.
