Both of my nephews are sick with high fevers and flu-like symptoms but the older one has it much worse. He has had very high fevers up to 105 F which is extremely high for an almost 3 year old! We've put him in luke-warm water and are giving him Children's Motrin and Tylenol but they don't really seem to bring it down. He's had fevers for the past 2 days and now he just got conjunctivitis (pink eye) in both of his eyes! My poor baby just can't catch a break! Please, if you have any home remedies for pink eye please let me know! And most of all please keep him in your prayers!! Thanks so much!

2 Days, that can be dangerous! If the fever hasn't broke! He needs to go to a clinic or a doctor! Please forget the home remedies and take him to a doctor because it is not safe. All kinds of things could happen to him if you do not seek medical attention. I am a mom of an almost four year old and I say this out of experience and love for children...Please have him seen by a doctor now and get the proper medications started ASAP.

Thank you so much for your prayers!! I actually called the hospital and they said that I shouldn't have to bring him in if his fever goes down, I let them know that the fever just wouldn't break even after his taking the Motrin and the nurse said to give him a little more of it along with the Tylenol so we did and his fever is going down now Thank The Lord! And we have medicine for his eyes (he just got pink eye a few months ago from a child he plays with) so we've been putting the medicine on but I still know that he needs prayer because he's so young with all this going on I know that he's uncomfortable. So thank you again!

I am glad you called the hospital but I am surprised the nurse did not want you to bring him in. I did not know you could mix Motrin and Tylenol together...I would never do that (mix meds) I would have thought he would need antibiotics or something. I am glad that you have medication for his eyes and I will be praying. Take care and keep us posted!:)

Thanks so much for the prayers! I was surprised she didn't think we should bring him in, too! 105 F is really high for an almost 3 year old! You can mix Tylenol and Motrin because they have different active ingredients, so it's not too much of the same thing!
