How to get stars?

I was told that after you've hit 100 of either responding or starting discussions then you get a star! There will be a number in it which, I think, stands for your rating in mylot based on what others rate the quality of your responses to the disussions and the ones you start! You will get your first star after you have 100 posts, and your rating ( color of the star ) may be determined by many factors, for example, whether you had received positive rating from other members, if you had been chosen for the best response, probably you will get more credits.

all of you are mis guided star is added when u get 10 repu points. and how to increase the reputaion is not a simple way. because if some will like your thread he/she will rate ur discussion then u will get a repute point. after each 10 repute points you will be awarded a star. and probably after 100 posts you get 10 repute points if u have given good threads to mylot community.

You'll get to see your star when you've reached your 100 post. MyLot starts calculating your ratings when you've reached this total post. Then when you reach 500 posts, I think MyLot will now allow you to cut and paste large texts when replying to discussions.

It's easy to get stars..Make a lot of interesting discussions so that will catch the attention of the members here at mylot,so, you will get lots of responses. The many responses, the bigger stars you will get. It's a give and take basis, like if you respond to some of the new discussions here, you will get responses from them too. Thus, you can make more friends that will respond to all of your discussion..Make more friends, they can help you to give you big star..good luck!

You can get your star by posting new discussion or responding to other discussions.When your number of post reach (100)the star will appear next to your log in name..You will then see numbers from 1~10 inside that star, this constitutes how other mylot user rate your discusion or your response to them.
