Anyone out there a clutz like me? I am constantly hurting myself. Slammed my finger in the trunk of my car, slipped on the ice 4 times in the past 2 days, hurting my hip, cut myself while cooking, fell down the stairs at work in front of my boss. Please tell me I am not alone...lol.

:) It's not all the time, but I do go trough phases where I am just like you. Hubby and I tend to call that my "Frank Spencer"'s days. It just goes on for a few days and then everything goes back to normal. As a rule I am usually very absent minded, always thinking about too many things at the same time, so that can account for me not to be paying proper attention to what's around me. But really some times it's really clutzville with me hehe

LOL but you have to admit that it has it's funny moments... like when I accidentally dropped the whole can of fish food in the tank and had to fish it all back LOL or the time I tripped on the cat and made hubby drop all the groceries including the eggs :):) Of course it's only funny now that a long time passed... I don't remember finding it funny at that time hehehe

Um..it really depends. If I'm running and practicing differnet fighting stles (I'm self-tat) then I'm slightly more graceful because I'm more aware of my movements. I can feel every muscle working..I love that feeling..but if I fall out of that, lose some of those musces, then I can get rather clumsy. But if I get absent minded..then I'm really super clumsy, heh. Like if I'm lost in thought about something..or if I'm around someone I really like..I'll be so focused on that or them that I'll forget what I was doing altogether! Even my body does it automatically.. but obviously sometimes that's not good at all lol.

yep, I am a major clutzoid! Always getting injured. am I really that careless? Some of it i think comes from being tall growing up in a community of rather short people, I always was trying to hide myself and it made me less graceful. My mother always said I was like a bull moose in a china cabinet.

my mother is an awesome cook and wouldn't even let me in the kitchen because one time I took a jar of mayonaise out and it smashed all over the floor !!

You poor thing! Hope your injuries are not serious. I had days like that before but now I always remind myself to 'wake up' when doing anything which really requires concentration like when cutting something, using blender, the oven, crossing road, walking on wet floors etc. I had several near misses before and it really is by God's grace I am still here today! Do take care and be more careful - keep your mind focused on whatever you are doing. Hope you get better soon.

Sometimes it's good to comfort oneself because me? I've been really like that too before. But I feel bad every time I do clumsy things so I tried to change and I really improved well. Maybe it's more on concentrating on what you're doing and not let your mind wander...hope this helps..
